Trent Situation, by Deanna Rexe

To the President,

My sentiments have been eloquently expressed by so many.

I therefore simply bring to your attention yet another Alumna (91) of Peter Robinson College (Dean's Honour List) who supports both the Senate, and the letter from the following individuals, whom I hold in high esteem, like so many others whose lives were profoundly affected by Trent:

Richard H. Sadleir, Founding Master, Peter Robinson College; Marion Fry, Founding Principal, Catharine Parr Traill College; Denis Smith, Founding Vice-president, Trent University; Thomas H. B. Symons, Founding President, Vanier Professor Emeritus, Trent University.

I would be ashamed to be associated with a University which chooses to disregard the democratic process and the integrity of its Senate. Further, it would be my expectation of Trent to involve Alumni to preserve those aspects of Trent which were key to our past development, but also our current attachment as benefactors and ambassadors.

Please reconsider.
