Bonnie Patterson will be giving a special presentation to city council on Monday night in council chambers (open to all!!). We find this interesting, since she could have attended when we were there December 13 and chose not to. However, now she is on the agenda as a "special presentation". We are all eager to hear what Bonnie has to say. Council meetings start at 7:30 p.m. - get there by 7:00 (or even earlier) if you want a seat. Make your support for the downtown colleges visible. Come out and be counted!!!

It has come to our attention that the information previously listed below as fact may not be. Thus, we recommend that if you have heard this news you take it with a grain of salt, while still remembering that it is a distinct possibility, if not now, then in the upcoming months.
The two downtown colleges have been listed with a Peterborough real estate firm. President Patterson has applied to have the charter changed where it stipulates that donated buildings cannot be sold! Act now!!! Call city councillors and ask for support. Tell them it looks like the buildings will be sold before President Patterson even appears before them to explain why she never consulted the university's city stakeholders.
Gary Stewart is away, but call his assistant and complain.
Write to Dianne Cunningham, Minister of Colleges, Training and Universities...and ask her to stop the sale and send back the Superbuild application so that the sale of the colleges can be excluded. email: dianne_cunningham@ontla.ola.org
Call David Lindsay, who is head of the Superbuild Corporation at Queen's Park, and ask for intervention.
