HR Managers Back Thief?

Human Resources management (Associate VIce President David Mahy and his Labour Relations Office Stephanie Williams) allegedly blindly supported their favourite employee, Security Guard Randy Grims, when he was accused of harassing and bullying female employees. Management refused to do anything to stop his bullying, which in effect supported the bully to continue.

In response to t he Ombudsperson's Investigative Report identifying this behaviour, inclusive of management's role, management and OPSEU's Regional Representative, Terry Baxter, agreed to keep the report itself secret. Why? Who benefited?

In the end, and after Mr. Grims' victim had to change jobs, Mr. Grims, a Security Guard, was himself charged by the local police with allegedly stealing from the employer (five counts of theft under $5,000)! Here are two articles from the local press.
